We recently saw a set of these blonde silk curtains (designed by Dutch designer Nicolette Brunklaus) at The Museum at FIT for their Fashion and Technology exhibit. They were featured for their creative whimsey and conceptual nature…but we couldn’t help but image how impressive it would be to see a curtain made out of individual strands of synthetic hair. It shouldn’t be that impossible…it’d be like making the back of a wig, only longer and wider. Then you could have real curls bouncing around near the floor, or you could braid it for special occasions, and imagine how marvelous it would be to watch the sunset shine through! Someone out there please get started on this right away!
